The dolls came today. They both came home with new heads and in hospital gowns. I was soooo relieved when I took Asian BB's gown off to find strings!!! But the strings are on the SIDE OF HER NECK. Ughh.... Now what will I do about clothes??? waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! But a good thing.... her head says Pleasant Co! That was until I noticed something odd about her eyes. One eye doesn't close as far as the other one. (about a 1 milimeter difference). It is actually pretty noticeable, too. I was so upset when I saw this. Also, her face looks greasy (shiny) sort of. Her eyelashes were soft, like that of a PM doll??????!!!!! Yet another oddity????????? It made me sad to see that she was so poorly treated.
My Blond bitty also came and that made me sad, too. Poor bitty has a zip tie and it's on the side of her neck also! The side of the neck is such a bad place to put them.... waayy to noticeable! Also, it surprised me that the SAME PERSON fixed my dolls (I saw the certificate) and they put a zip tie on one, and strings on the other?
I am feeling really down about this situation.

I think all of the bitty babies have their strings on the side of their necks. Mine did, and they never went to the hospital. I would call the doll hospital and ask them to replace the one you're not happy with. Weird how the same person did two different things with the dolls.

Usually if one has a zip tie and one not, it's because the strings broke while changing them. Atleast that's what they told me.

All Bitty Babies have the ties on the side. I would contact the Hospital they are pretty good about correcting things

I asked them to replace the zip tie on my Addy and sent her in to get the string and they told me that they do not have the strings. Maybe then they just use the existing string if it's still good. I ended up getting a string from a local doll hospital and it's different, but it still works for holding the head on and I can take it off if she ever needs any work. I also cut off a zip tie from another hospital doll I got back and it was quite difficult. I had to pull out the ol tool box. Good luck with you bitties.
